Road to resilience Session 11: What About These Feelings?

The eleventh session of our methamphetamine sobriety support group focuses on the theme "What About These Feelings?" In this session, participants will delve into the challenging terrain of managing difficult feelings that may arise during the recovery process. Through guided discussions, experiential exercises, and reflective activities, members will explore strategies for recognizing, accepting, and coping with uncomfortable emotions such as anxiety, guilt, shame, and anger. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, the session aims to empower individuals to develop emotional intelligence, resilience, and mindfulness techniques to navigate these feelings constructively. Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences, insights, and coping mechanisms, fostering a sense of connection and mutual support within the group. By normalizing the experience of uncomfortable emotions and providing practical tools for emotional regulation, this session equips members with the skills to navigate challenges and maintain their sobriety with greater self-awareness and emotional well-being.
